The Undergraduate Symposium Awards will recognize outstanding undergraduate posters, presentations, performances, and displays that exemplify clear, effective, and engaging communication of ideas and findings for a general audience. The awards will celebrate strong presentation skills, accessible discussion of the work for visitors with ranging familiarity with the topic, and thoughtful exploration of the broader significance of the research, scholarly work, community-engaged project, or creative endeavor.
Presenters will be invited to self-nominate for this opportunity on the Undergraduate Symposium application. To be considered, students must submit their project materials, including poster files and slides, one week in advance of the event. Award recipients will be announced on the symposium website in late April. These awards offer recognition only and are not accompanied by a monetary prize.
Undergraduate Symposium Poster Display at College Library
College Library will showcase a selection of Undergraduate Symposium posters beginning in late April through Summer 2026. The display will highlight posters that exemplify strong design and organization, effective use of written content and visuals, creativity, and a clear emphasis on the project’s significance or impact. This is a great opportunity for presenters to be recognized for excellent work on their posters and to share their research, scholarly projects, and artistic endeavors with members of the campus community visiting College Library over the summer.
Presenters will be invited to indicate their interest in this opportunity on the Undergraduate Symposium application. To be considered, undergraduates must submit their digital poster files one week in advance of the event. Selected posters will be announced on the symposium website in late April.
